I started this project because I got tired of seeing complex ideas flattened into captions, outrage, and instant takes.

Words still matter to me for one simple reason: they force complete thought. And complete thought makes contradictions visible, including your own.

That is why Verba exists.

About the Creator

Verba was founded by Aleksei Chesnokov.
Trained as a journalist, he spent years covering politics and economics before stepping away from traditional media. Now based in Barcelona, he works at the intersection of politics, technology, and long-form thinking.
